Actually I have apologized to other people before, but I understand that it meant a lot to Amy that I apologized to her. Its odd that you would doubt whether or not I “actually like her”, because it implies that for some reason I would choose to spend time with someone who I didn’t like. I don’t think my apology proves anything, but instead further supports the fact that I enjoy the company of Amy Farrah Fowler and will therefore do things in order to maintain that relationship.
